25 Days of Christmas - Day 15!

Yep 10 days and COUNTING!!!!  I was again a busy bee last night!  I finished up preparing a lot of goodies.  Now it's just a matter of assembling them which I will be doing tonight.  So here's a look at some of the goodies I finished (and yes I already know you want to be on my Christmas list next year!) LOL

Organic Sugar Scrubs!!

For the teachers, I wrapped up Emergency chocolate bars with the CUTEST labels from Suzy Q Scraps! They are going to go in the baskets with some other goodies.  And I made homemade Limoncello for some of our friends!  I love the way the labeling and bottles turned out!

 I also made homemade Amaretto!  It is DELICIOUS in coffee!

That's right we are on Day 14!!  That means 11 more days until Christmas!!  YIKES!!  I better get busy!

Well it's Monday......and well that's all I can really say about that! LOL!  Except for maybe I wish it was Friday!!  I have a feeling that Friday is going to sneak up pretty quick on me this week because I have so much on my to do list!  But it's mostly fun stuff.  Except for cleaning the house and laundry!  Somebody wanna send me a Christmas Elf to take care of that?

25 Days of Christmas–Day 11 & 12

So sorry about missing a post yesterday!  It has been a BUSY weekend!!  I finally finished Emma’s recycled winter hat and scarf with cute felt flowers!  LOVE IT!!

The my DD and I got busy making Christmas cookies!  We made Oreo Balls and Spritz cookies.  Our spritz cookies were a bit of a pain.  I tried a new recipe which tasted great, but was hard to work with.

And FINALLY, I finished up my homemade Limoncello and Amaretto! YUM-E!!  I made it for my friends who call me Millerette. So I named it Milleretta Amaretto! LOL

25 Days of Christmas - Day 10 & Magnets!!

So last night I had so much fun making Marble Magnets!!  I found the tutorial at Not Martha.org and it was SOOOOO easy!  And when I say SOOOOO easy I mean it!!  Here's a quick recap!

I used left over scrapbooking paper, glass marbles that are flat on the back from the dollar store, magents that have the sticky foam backing on one side and E600 glue which is a MUST!  The first time I tried it with glue I had on hand and well, it was no so good.  This stuff is the real deal!

Put a little on the marble and smoosh to your hearts content!  It's really fun! Kind of like popping the little bubbles in bubble wrap!  Just smoosh away!   The object, of course, is to make sure you get all the little bubbles out and you paper shows through nice and clean.  The let it dry!

Trim the excess paper off and pop on a magnet!

And Wa-La!  Magnets GALORE!!  I am doing some with faces behind them so I'll let you know how they turn out!

Yeah!!  So many fun things to tell you about today.  First of all, I promised that I would post pics of the cute little decoupaged notebooks I did!  I LOVE THEM!!!  And they are going to make great teacher gifts!

25 Days of Christmas - Day 08

Happy Hump Day!!!  I was a busy bee last night and today as well.  I'll be posting pictures soon of the ADORABLE little decoupaged notebooks I finished up!  I am in love with them!!  And all today I have been working on a frosty alphabet that I am falling in love with.  I dream of a white christmas ever year and well, living in South Florida the odds are not so good for that.  But this alpha is making me want to book a ticket to Vermont or Maine or ALASKA!!  Okay maybe not Alaska.  That might be a little to cold for me =)  But the Alpha is super cute and I should have up tomorrow for you Snow Bunnies!!  Until then, you will have to enjoy Day 8's little mini kit which you can DOWNLOAD HERE!
